POA Board approves assessment increase

At the March 3 POA Board of Directors Regular Session Meeting, the Board of Directors approved to increase the annual assessment by $29 per month. The vote was 4-1 with Director Tom Nathan voting against the increase. Beginning May 1, the annual assessment will increase to $280 per month for Fiscal Year 2020/2021. Assessment may be paid in person or online at www.canyonlakepoa.com. Members who choose to pay their annual assessment monthly will be charged a $10 monthly installment charge. Members who pay monthly utilizing the Automatic Payment Service will be charged a $5 monthly installment charge. Monthly payments are due by the 1st of each month. Payments received after the 15th of the month will be considered late and will incur a late fee. The Board of Directors also approved the Fee Schedule for Fiscal Year 2020/2021. Among the fee increases are campground rates, common area rental fees, lake use fees, boat dock fees, country club and lodge room rental fees, equestrian center stall rental fees, and escrow fees.
