The POA Board approved funding in the amount of $54,760 from the CIP Fund for an ADA ramp at Roadrunner Park. The funding includes retaining walls, 135-feet of ADA pathway, permits, survey and staking, railings, and irrigation reconfiguration.

Plans have been in the works for many years to build a permanent restroom building at the lakefront park. In 2016, the POA announced that plans for the restrooms were complete and that staff was working with EVMWD to finalize a design that would  facilitate a sewer connection for the proposed facility.

In March 2019, the POA announced that EVMWD approved the fifth revision plans for the restrooms and that the permit and RFP were forthcoming.
