The POA Board of Directors on Tuesday approved Mermaids of Canyon Lake as a sanctioned club, effective August 3.
The objective of the Mermaids of Canyon Lake Club is to promote sisterhood, volunteerism, and community. The club hosts community events for the purpose of raising money for charitable causes.
Membership is open to all Canyon Lake women. Annual dues are $10. Club meetings are held quarterly. For more information, contact Kathy Ray at [email protected] or Grace Ward at 662-341-0804.
Some of the benefits of being recognized as a POA sanctioned club include discounted use of POA facilities and common areas, discounted menu items for club banquets, use of certain POA equipment for sanctioned club functions, advertisement for club functions and upcoming events, and club information and contact listing on the POA website.
