Residents and guests are not permitted to drive their motorcycles through the community. The POA provides motorcycle parking areas near all three gate entrances. The need for additional and secured motorcycle parking has been discussed for numerous years with no resolution.
The Facilities Planning Committee was recently tasked with developing a concept Scope of Work for the proposed project.
The board reviewed the concept on Tuesday and recommended that the Facilities Planning Committee discuss the concept further with community members who currently use the motorcycle storage areas. The board also recommended that the committee review the existing motorcycle parking area near the North Gate and recommend modifications to this area in addition to the areas at East Port Park and the senior center.
The Facilities Review Committee will provide revised concept recommendations for discussion by the board at the November 2020 meeting.
