Police search for suspect who shot, killed 19-year-old Wildomar man in Lake Elsinore

A 19-year-old Wildomar man was found shot in Lake Elsinore on Monday, the Riverside Sheriff’s Department reported.

On November 8, Lake Elsinore deputies responded to the 100 block of Riley Street to investigate a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male who appeared to have been shot. The victim was identified as 19-year-old Blake Paine of Wildomar. Paine was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit and the Lake Elsinore Station were notified and have assumed the investigation. The suspect(s) fled the area and are still outstanding.
