The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station is seeking the public’s help with an investigation into the death of 28-year-old Juan Franco of Moreno Valley.
On October 23 around 4 a.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to a report of a person laying in the roadway on Day Street, south of Eucalyptus Avenue. Deputies arrived at the scene and found Franco laying in the roadway, unresponsive, and suffering from a traumatic injury to his head. Despite life-saving measures, he was declared deceased.
The preliminary investigation was unable to determine if Franco was struck by a vehicle or if foul play was involved, officials said.
