Pool reopens with new guidelines, reduced capacity, modified hours

The pool will reopen today with modified hours, new guidelines, and reduced capacity. Social distancing will be required and face coverings outside of the pool are recommended.
 
Reservations are required to use the pool. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Reservations are limited to one per day and six members per tract/lot. Guests are not allowed at this time. Reservations are taken on online at www.canyonlakepoa.com/swimming and can be made up to two days in advance. A valid POA card is required at check-in.
 
Fifty-minute lap and exercise swim times are daily from 6 to 6:50 a.m., 7 to 7:50 a.m., 8 to 8:50 a.m., and 9 to 9:50 a.m.  Two-hour open swim times are daily from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., 3 to 5 p.m., and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Each two-hour open swim session will be limited to 104 members. Members will be issued wristbands upon arrival.
 
The POA has implemented several precautions to ensure safety. Staff will disinfect the area between swim times, pool furniture has been rearranged to provide adequate social distancing, staff will wear masks, and members will be required to enter through the main gate and exit through the side gate. The POA recommends that members bring their own sanitizer. Pool toys are not allowed.
 
Pool activities such as water aerobics, swim lessons, and Movie Nights are canceled until further notice.
