A procession will be held for fallen Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Timothy Corlew on Thursday, January 23. Deputy Corlew was killed in an on-duty traffic collision on January 8. He was assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station.
This procession is restricted to family members and Riverside County Sheriff’s Office personnel only. Members of the public are welcome to line the streets in support. Funeral services will be open to the public.
The procession will begin at 9 a.m. at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary at 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside. The procession will exit Acheson and Graham and proceed northeast on Magnolia Avenue, turning left on Madison Avenue, left on Arlinton Avenue, and right on Adams Street, ending at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church at 6115 Arlington Ave.
Funeral services will start at 10 a.m. Those who would like to send flowers may have them delivered directly to the Harvest Christian Fellowship Church no later than 8 a.m. on the day of the services.
The services will stream live on the Riverside County Sheriff’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
A law enforcement procession from the Harvest Christian Fellowship Church to the Olivewood Memorial Park will commence after the funeral service. The procession will consist of emergency vehicles, family, and family invitees only.
The procession route is as follows:
- Westbound on Arlington Avenue from Harvest Christian Fellowship Church parking lot
- Turn left, head southbound on Crestview Drive
- Turn right, head westbound on 7th Street
- Turn left, head southbound on California Avenue
- Turn right, head westbound on 6th Street
- Turn left, head southbound on Hamner Avenue
- Turn left, head eastbound on 2nd Street
- Turn right, merge onto southbound Interstate 15
- Merge onto eastbound State Route 91
- Exit State Route 91 at Central Avenue and turn right
- Arrive at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Ave.
Interment services are not open to the public.
