The Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary is expanding into the Southern Riverside area and forming a new unit in Murrieta.
The established fundraising arm of Rady Children’s Hospital is holding an informational Zoom session on February 3 at 4:30 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to learn what the Auxiliary is, what the members do, and what it takes to create a new unit in the Southern Riverside area. To register to attend the Zoom session, email [email protected].
Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary works in partnership with Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego to support its mission by advocating for the health and well-being of children, increasing community awareness of Rady Children’s, and fundraising.
Auxiliary units support the hospital in multiple ways year-round, including raising funds, decorating the campus, providing much-needed snacks and toiletry items for patient families, and much more.
Today, there are more than 1,100 volunteer members spread across 20 different units. Together they collaborate to ensure that patients and their families experience the highest level of care in a healing environment. Since the Auxiliary’s inception in 1953, the organization has raised more than $80 million.
Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego is a nonprofit, 505-bed pediatric-care facility dedicated to in care, research, and teaching. It’s the only hospital in the San Diego area dedicated exclusively to pediatric healthcare and the region’s only designated pediatric trauma center.
