The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Lake Elsinore Station conducted a Driving Under the Influence and Driver’s License Checkpoint on Friday, March 19, between the hours of 8 p.m. and 2 at Railroad Canyon Road and Church Street.
Deputies screened 1,166 cars, made five driving under the influence arrests, served two felony arrest warrants, and seized 44 pounds of marijuana. Eleven vehicles were towed.
Three citations were issued for suspended license and 15 citations were issued for unlicensed driver. A total of 31 citations were issued.
