Dan Ke reeled in a huge bass on May 7 while fishing at the dock at the north end of the main lake.
Ke didn’t have a scale but estimated the weight of the bass to be between eight and 10 pounds.
Using live bait, Ke and his friend, Nico Ramero, caught five bass in less than three hours.
Ke fishes about three times a week in several different locations around Canyon Lake, including Diamond Point Park and Sierra Park.
