The renovations at the large dog park at East Port Park began last week. The project is anticipated to be completed within six weeks. The large dog park will be closed during this time. The small dog park will remain open
The redesign includes transforming the current area with new dog agility equipment, decomposed granite pathways, two additional shade structures, trees, and benches. The existing dog water fountain, solar lighting, and dog bag stations will be used in the new design.
On May 4, the POA Board of Directors approved 117,466.39 ($100,706.39 from the Repair and Replacement Fund and $16,760.00 from the Capital Improvement Fund) for the project.
