Revamping operations: Canyon Lake POA shifts to director model

Following the announcement of the Canyon Lake POA assistant general manager’s resignation, the POA announced it is reorganizing its operations and transitioning back to a director model.

In addition to the current director of operations and director of finance, the director model introduces three new positions: director of corporate administration, director of community services, and director of IT.

Harmony McNaughton, who currently serves as the public information officer and clerk of the board, will be transitioning into the director of corporate administration role. As the director of corporate administration, McNaughton will provide support, guidance, coordination, planning, and supervision across the corporate business side and disciplinary departments and functions, including corporate administration, clerk of the board, planning and compliance, hearing services, community and marine patrol, and corporate communications.

Tiffany Cribbs, who currently serves as the communications manager, will be transitioning into the director of community services role. In her new role, Cribbs will provide support, guidance, coordination, and supervision across various community-serving departments and functions, including member services, activities and recreation, the pool, and community communications.

The current IT manager, James Trask, will be transitioning into the role of director of IT.

In addition, Andrea Moreno, who currently serves as the corporate administrative assistant, will be transitioning into the clerk of the board role.
