In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Riverside County sheriff’s deputies have been authorized to wear pink shoulder patches during the month of October.
The pink patches are intended to stimulate conversation within the community and to encourage public awareness about the importance of early detection and treatment in the fight against breast cancer.
The patches are available to the public for $10 each and can be purchased at the LEAPS Px at the Ben Clark Training Center, 16791 Davis Ave., Riverside. Shipping is available for an additional charge. For questions on purchasing a patch, call 951-486-2912.
