The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating any additional victims of a Corona man charged with human trafficking.
Billy Moore Jr., 25, was arrested in July by the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking (RCAHT) task force. According to the Riverside District Attorney’s Office, Moore has been charged with eight felonies, including human trafficking, pimping, and pandering involving three victims. The DA’s Office believes there may be several other victims who have not yet been identified.
This case is being investigated by Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Danny Engels of the task force. Anyone who believes they or someone they know may have been a victim of Moore is asked to contact the RCAHT task force at 855-758-3733 or the National Human Trafficking Resource Center at 888-373-7888.
The RCAHT task force is a multidisciplinary task force that combines the investigative resources of both local and federal law enforcement. The law enforcement component of RCAHT is currently composed of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Riverside County District Attorney’s Office Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, and the FBI, along with part-time participation of the Hemet, Riverside, and Desert Hot Springs police departments.
