A 61-year-old Riverside County man who had been missing for three days was found alive and in stable condition in the Sage area following an extensive multi-agency search and rescue effort.
The man, whose identity was not released, was reported missing around 1 a.m. on Wednesday from the 38000 block of Overton Road in Sage under unknown circumstances, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. A search operation was launched and continued for three days.
On Saturday, the missing man was found alive and in stable condition in the Sage area. He was transported to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation and treatment before being reunited with his family.
The large-scale search effort included assistance from multiple county and state agencies, with teams responding from Orange County, San Diego County, San Bernardino County, and a state-level team.
Authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances of the man’s disappearance.
