Riverside County Sheriff’s Office invites community to participate in 5K honoring heroes

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office announced a collaborative 5K Run and Walk set for March 21, bringing the community together in support of a meaningful cause that honors the sacrifices of first responders, military heroes, and their families.

Hosted in partnership with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department, and Moreno Valley College, this event is designed to promote health, unity, and remembrance while raising awareness for those who have given so much in service to others.

This event begins at 8 a.m. at Ben Clark Training Center, located at 16921 Bundy Ave., Riverside. To ensure the safety of all participants, there will be temporary road closures at Barton Avenue and Larry Parish Parkway and at Nandina Avenue and Ferguson Avenue.
