The Riverside County Workforce Services is offering free training to become a career coach, plus a stipend to coach in underserved areas. The program is designed for individuals living in underserved areas who are interested in learning to be a career coach while helping community members find employment.
Career coaches help people choose a path to employment by helping others to build a resume, search for jobs, and submit job applications. This is an opportunity for self and community development and a way to give back to the community by helping others who may be struggling with the use of technology to search and apply for jobs. Career coaches can earn a stipend of $250.00 by assisting five community members to build their resume and apply for employment.
