RUHS Festival of Trees is returning to the downtown Riverside Convention Center this Saturday and Sunday with free family fun, including dozens of dazzling trees and landscapes, a gift fair, local performances, and Santa.
This event coincides with the inaugural weekend of the 30th annual Festival of Lights downtown. This year marks the first season since 2019 that this holiday tradition is returning to its regular location at the Convention Center.
“More than 10,000 visitors of all ages are expected to immerse themselves in the spirit of the holidays over the weekend of free fun and entertainment,” Nicole Peterson-Orr, executive director of RUHS Foundation, said.
Doors to the Festival of Trees will be open Friday and Saturday between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. at the downtown Riverside Convention Center, 3637 5th St. For more information, visit ruhsfoundation.org.
The Festival of Trees raises awareness and support for Riverside University Health System – Medical Center’s neonatal and pediatric intensive care units and the Child Abuse and Neglect Unit. This year’s gala, held the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, raised more than $550,000 to support vital pediatric care for Riverside County children and families.
