A 51-year-old Moreno Valley school campus supervising officer was taken into custody on Thursday for allegedly sexually assaulting a student.
In November, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a school in the 23000 block of Cougar Canyon Road in Moreno Valley regarding a report of inappropriate contact between a campus supervising officer, identified as Romero R. Feliciano, and a student. Due to the nature of the investigation, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit assumed the investigation.
On December 11, Investigators served a search warrant at a residence in the 20000 block of Marcheta Place, where Feliciano was taken into custody. He was arrested on suspicion of sodomy by force, solicitation of child sexual abuse material, and multiple additional child sexual abuse charges, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office – Special Victims Unit believes there may be additional victims and encourages anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact Investigator J. Lee at 951-955–1718.
