To minimize the spread of the coronavirus and adhere to social distancing requirements, the Senior Center Work Group has canceled the annual Senior Center Christmas dinner and New Year’s Eve party. Additionally, there is a lack of funding to pay for these events due to the cancellation of the annual Senior Center Holiday Boutique, which was scheduled to take place in November.
“With concerns caused by the coronavirus and with no boutique to fund these events, we made the decision to cancel them this year,” said Co-Chair Kathy Barbay.
All events at the Canyon Lake Senior Center are canceled until further notice.
