To minimize the spread of the coronavirus and adhere to social distancing requirements, the annual Canyon Lake Senior Center Holiday Boutique scheduled for November 7 and 8 has been canceled.
“The volunteers who put on the event are the most susceptible population,” said Co-Chair Kathy Barbay. “We can’t chance it this year.”
The two-day event draws hundreds of shoppers in search of homemade items and baked goods made by local vendors. The funds raised from the Holiday Boutique go toward the Senior Center Christmas dinner and New Year’s Eve party.
