Sheriff’s compliance check finds five offenders in violation in Temecula

Five registered offenders were determined to be out of compliance and in violation during a compliance check throughout the City of Temecula.

On January 30, the Southwest Sheriff’s Station conducted a registered offender compliance check at the residences of 82 registered offenders throughout Temecula. Of those, 77 registered offenders were contacted and found to be in compliance, while five registrants were determined to be out of compliance and in violation. Sheriff Investigators will follow up on these five registrants and seek arrest warrants.

The Southwest Sheriff’s Station pursues the prosecution of sex registrants who fail to comply with their annual registration requirements. The Southwest Sheriff’s Station will also conduct similar compliance operations to verify that registered offenders are living at their reported residences and in compliance with any probation or parole terms.
