As part of its wildfire prevention and mitigation program, Southern California Edison will be using drones and helicopters to conduct inspections over the next few weeks in the City of Wildomar.
The drones and helicopters will be used to inspect equipment from difficult angles. The focus of these operations is to inspect electrical equipment on poles and towers and to identify any damage or potential hazards that may need immediate repair.
The amount of time it takes to conduct inspections varies, depending on how much equipment is on each pole or tower (approximately 30 minutes).
