
On August 30 at 2:36 a.m., Moreno Valley Station deputies were dispatched to the Circle K in the 12000 block of Frederick Steet regarding a robbery.
The victim stated a black male adult wearing black clothing entered the store with a handgun and demanded money, according to Sergeant Ryan Marcuse. The victim complied with the suspect. The suspect fled the location on foot and was not located.
Through the assistance of the public and the Moreno Valley Citywide Camera System, the suspect was identified as 27-year-old Davon Lawler of Perris. Lawler was located and arrest on September 9 without incident, according to officials. The weapon used during the robbery was also recovered.
Lawler is being charged with second degree robbery and vandalism, jail records show. Bail was set at $30,000.
