
The Riverside Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in locating homicide suspect Alexander Aquino, 19. Aquino is Hispanic, five foot four, 160 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in the Perris/Nuevo area. Aquino is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Investigator Manjarrez at 951-955-2777.
On August 19 at about 9:42 a.m., deputies from the Perris Sheriff Station responded to the 29600 block of Nuevo Road regarding a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. Upon arrival, deputies located Abdallah Abushawishan, a 61-year-old resident of San Jacinto, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in front of a business. Abushawishan was identified as an employee of the business, according to Sergeant Ben Ramirez.
Abushawishan was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
At about 11:27 a.m., deputies conducted a felony traffic stop on Creekwood Court and arrested Isaiah Lugo, a 23-year-old resident of Moreno Valley, and Charles Trevino, a 24-year-old resident of Perris, for the murder of Abushawishan. Bail was set at $100,000 for both suspects.
