A Temecula man was arrested for indecent exposure for allegedly exposing himself during a Fourth of July event in the City of San Jacinto.
On July 4 at 9:30 p.m., deputies were notified of a report of indecent exposure near the Valley-Wide Recreation and Park. According to officials, witnesses reported a male who exposed his genitalia in public view in the area of Esplanade Avenue and Palm Avenue. Surveillance camera footage corroborated statements provided by the witnesses, reported Sergeant Benjamin Media.
On July 6 at 6:37 p.m., deputies conducted a follow-up investigation which ultimately led to the arrest of Nazar Akbari, a 39-year-old resident of Temecula. Akbari was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center in the City of Murrieta for indecent exposure. He posted bail, set at 2,500, and was released the same day, according to jail records.
