A 15-year-old girl reported missing from her Temecula home in November has been recovered safety in the City of Long Beach. A 20-year-old Wilmington man has been arrested on suspicion of trafficking her for sexual purposes.
On November 23, deputies from the Southwest Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a 15-year-old female juvenile missing from her residence in the unincorporated area of Temecula. The Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT) responded and assumed the investigation.
On November 26, the victim was recovered safely in the City of Long Beach. During the course of the investigation, investigators learned the juvenile had been a victim of sexual assault and child sex trafficking. She was treated at a local hospital and received support from a victim advocate.
The suspect was identified as 20-year-old Nestor Alexis Aguirre-Chavez of Wilmington, California.
Aguirre-Chavez was arrested on December 5 at a residence in the 1600 block of Robidoux Street in the City of Wilmington. He is facing six felony counts, including commercial sex trafficking of a minor under duress and pimping a minor. His bail is set at $1 million.

The law enforcement component of RCAHT currently includes the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Social Services, and maintains a zero-tolerance policy for human trafficking offenses.
