
A Temecula woman has been identified as the suspect in a fatal shooting that occurred on December 26 in the City of Temecula.
Around 6:43 p.m., deputies from the Southwest Sheriff’s Station responded to a residence in the 31000 block of Sunflower Way and located an adult female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
During the course of the investigation, 31-year-old Nicaela Hernandez was identified as the suspect. Hernandez was taken into custody on December 27 and booked on suspicion of murder.
