Tennessee teen suspected of making bomb threat against Riverside County high school

A 16-year-old from Dyer, Tennessee, is suspected of making a bomb threat at San Jacinto High School.

Between March 5 and March 13, San Jacinto High School received three bomb threats, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Thorough searches of the school were conducted after each threat but no devices were found.

An investigation identified a 16-year-old from Dyer, Tennessee, as one of the subjects responsible for one of the bomb threats. The department said a report was taken and forwarded to authorities in Tennessee for prosecution.

Investigators are currently working on identifying the subjects responsible for two additional threats. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Deputy Cantlope at the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station at 951-654-2702.
