The Canyon Lake Tennis Club held its annual Wimbledon Team Mixer on Saturday. Organized by Tournament Director Carlos Hansen and Head Tennis Pro Bobby Kielty, the event included a barbecue, cornhole, and awards. The club supplied the hot dogs and hamburgers, players were asked to bring their favorite side dish.
Dressed in Wimbledon white attire, more than 30 players competed in the tournament. Team Oxford won first place. The highest points winners were Rhonda Arendt and Mike Porter. The winners were presented with tennis swag and gift cards.
The club’s next mixer, the Fiesta Doubles, will be held on July 10 at 7:30 a.m. and will include a Mexican-themed brunch.
