Thanksgiving Day burglary leads to arrest of Hemet man

Corey Parisi, a 34-year-old resident of Hemet, was arrested on Thanksgiving Day and charged with possession of a controlled substance and second degree burglary.

On November 26, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to the 28700 block of Highway 74 regarding a burglary alarm at a construction site. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Parisi, who police say was in a black sedan parked behind the business with a covered rear license plate.

According to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Department, deputies located drug paraphernalia within the vehicle and evidence linking Parisi to a commercial burglary. Parisi was arrested and booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center. Jail records show he was released the same day.

This investigation is on-going. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Deputy Enriquez at 951-245-3300.
