Thirty-four adults were arrested during a compliance sweep throughout Southwest Riverside County.
On December 17 between 10 a.m and 4 p.m., the entire Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force and multiple law enforcement teams conducted probation and parole compliance checks and saturation patrol throughout the cities of Temecula, Murrieta, Wildomar, Menifee, and Lake Elsinore.
Thirty-four adults were arrested on a variety of misdemeanor and felony charges. Some of the items seized during the operation included four firearms, several hundred rounds of ammunition, 66 grams of methamphetamine, and 17 grams of heroin, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Two stolen vehicles were also recovered during the operation.
The Riverside County Gang Task Force is a collaborative effort of several law enforcement agencies with the goal of combating criminal street gangs. The Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force is one of six teams that compose the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force.
