Three people were killed and one suffered severe injuries in a single-vehicle traffic collision in Murrieta on Saturday.
Deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle traffic collision in the parking lot of Alta Murrieta Elementary School shortly after 11 p.m. and discovered a vehicle fully engulfed in flames, according to the Murrieta Police Department.
One male occupant, who was located outside the vehicle with severe injuries, was transported to a local hospital. The driver and two other individuals were located inside the vehicle after the fire was extinguished. They were pronounced deceased at the scene.
