The Canyon Lake POA’s 2021 “Concerts at the Lodge” lineup includes rock band Canned Heat, country music duo Love and Theft, country music artist Craig Campbell, and legendary rock band L.A. Guns. All concerts are held in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., concerts start at 7 p.m.
American rock band Canned Heat is scheduled to perform at the lodge on April 24. General admission tickets cost $44. VIP tickets cost $64. If this concert is canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions, the concert will be rescheduled to Friday, October 15.
Canned Heat emerged in 1966 and attained three worldwide hits: “On the Road Again” in 1968, “Let’s Work Together” in 1970, and “Going Up the Country” in 1969. The legendary band secured their niche in rock and roll history with their performances at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival and headlining slot at the original Woodstock Festival.
Love and Theft will be performing at the lodge on June 26. General admission tickets cost $34. VIP tickets cost $54. Love and Theft signed as an opening act for Taylor Swift’s 2008 tour. They made their chart debut in early 2009 with the single “Runaway,” which reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs. Released in 2011, “Angel Eyes” became their first number one hit. Love and Theft is currently putting the final touches on their fourth studio album,
Country music artist Craig Campbell will take the stage on August 28. General admission tickets cost $34. VIP tickets cost $54. Campbell has had eight singles on the country charts. His first single, “Family Man”, hit the Top 15 on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart in 2011. “Outta My Head” also cracked the Top 15. Campbell’s catchy tune “Fish” garnered more than 10 million on-demand streams.
American rock band L.A. Guns will be performing on November 13. General admission tickets cost $32. VIP tickets cost $52. L.A. Guns was formed in 1983 by guitar player Tracii Guns and, then unknown singer, Axl Rose on lead vocals. The team of Guns and former Girl singer Phil Lewis have sold more than six million records, including “L.A. Guns” and “Cocked and Loaded,” both of which were certified Gold. “Ballad of Jayne” hit number 33 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and 25 on the Mainstream Rock Chart.
The band’s 11th album, “The Missing Peace,” was released in 2017 and debuted at 16 on the U.S. Top Hard Rock Album Chart. The current lineup features founding member and lead guitar player Guns, who has reunited with Lewis on vocals, along with Shane Fitzgibbon on drums, Johnny Martin on bass, and Ace Von Johnson on guitar.
According to “Concerts at the Lodge” Producer Doug Schultz, each concert will have an opening act. The opening acts will be announced on a later date.
