On November 17 at 10:18 p.m., the Murrieta Police Department responded to a traffic collision involving a single motorcycle on Murrieta Hot Springs Road near Jackson Avenue.
Murrieta Police and Fire and Rescue personnel arrived on the scene and found a 38-year-old male and a 31-year-old female lying on the concrete median located about 470 feet east of Jackson Avenue. In the same area, a motorcycle was located on its side. Both subjects were suffering from major injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
The male was pronounced deceased at the hospital at 10:55 p.m. and the female is continuing to receive treatment for her injuries, according to the Murrieta Police Department.
