On behalf of the Canyon Lake Triathlon and Fitness Club, board members Lainie Cooney and Karin Cassidy presented a $500 donation to Canyon Lake Community Theatre. President Bobby Swan accepted the donation on behalf of the group.
“I am amazed at the support we’ve received from the Triathlon and Fitness club and other Canyon Lake clubs over the past eight months,” Swan said. “The donations have kept us afloat and made it possible for us to continue bringing theatrical performances to the Canyon Lake community.”
The funds were raised during the Triathlon and Fitness Club’s community Paddle and Pedal Regatta, an annual event held in August at Indian Beach.
“Thanks to everyone who donated at the recent Paddle and Pedal Regatta,” Karin Cassidy said. “We hope this money helps to ensure future theater productions in our beautiful community.”
