Deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station conducted a Traffic Enforcement Saturation patrol on August 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the City of Wildomar.
With a focus on excessive speed, deputies conducted 33 vehicle enforcement stops and cited 23 drivers for various traffic violations. One driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
The Traffic Enforcement Saturation patrol targeted unsafe drivers to help prevent and reduce the number of traffic collisions within the city. Funding was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
