Two juveniles, 19-year-old Temecula resident suspect of two robberies in Lake Elsinore

Two juveniles and a 19-year-old Temecula resident are suspected of two robberies that occurred today in the City of Lake Elsinore.

The first robbery was reported at 12:45 a.m. at the Circle K on Grand Avenue. According to the Riverside Sheriff’s Department, one victim reported being robbed by two unidentified males, one of which pointed a gun at him. Money and alcohol were taken from the establishment, according to Sergeant Robert Thomas. Both suspects fled the scene on foot.

During a canvass of the area, a second robbery was reported at 1:27 a.m. at the ARCO/am-pm located in the 29000 Block of Central Avenue. One victim reported that a male wearing a grey sweatshirt and khaki pants entered the store and pointed a gun at him. The suspect fled on foot and entered a grey Porsche.

An extensive search was conducted and a vehicle matching the description was located in a nearby business complex. Two suspects, one which matched the description of a suspect from the Circle K robbery, and a firearm were located in the vehicle.

During the investigation, it was learned there was a third suspect. He was later located at a residence in Lake Elsinore and arrested without incident.

Two suspects were identified as juveniles and booked into Juvenile Hall. The third suspect was identified as 19-year-old Raul Aparicio. Aparicio was charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and second-degree robbery, according to jail records. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 29.
