Two men arrested in Perris robbery

Frank Pinon, a 69-year-old resident of Stockton, and Joe Pinon, a 72-year-old resident of Mead Valley, were arrested on Friday in connection with the August 12 robbery of a business in the 60 block of East Nuevo Road in the City of Perris

One of the suspects entered the business, brandished a firearm, demanded all the money in the register, and fled the location with $1,500 cash, according to Sergeant Michael Hamilton. The suspect entered an awaiting vehicle after fleeing the location.

On August 21, deputies served a search warrant at a residence located in the 21000 block of Bailly Street in the unincorporated area of Mead Valley where both men were arrested. According to Hamilton, deputies recovered a firearm and other evidence of the robbery inside the residence.

Frank Pinon was arrested for armed robbery, conspiracy, and an outstanding warrant for violation of parole, a violation jail records show stemmed from him failing to register as a sex offender. Bail was set at $30,000.

Joe Pinon was arrested for armed robbery and conspiracy. Bail was set at $30,000.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department encourages anyone with additional information regarding this investigation to contact Deputy Mike Gil at 951-210-1000 or [email protected].
