A vintage hot rod and a planter were damaged during a photo shoot on Friday at the Canyon Lake Lodge. The accident occurred around 9 a.m.
The photo shoot, organized by the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association (POA), was intended to capture images of the vehicle for promotional material the POA planned to use for the annual Car Show on October 5.
During the photo shoot, the driver accidentally reversed the vehicle and slammed into a planter around the Sunset Terrace, damaging the rear of the vehicle and the planter.

The Canyon Lake Fire Department and AMR responded to the scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to Fire Chief Jeff LaTendresse.
The POA posted a notice of the incident on its social media page and is asking residents to follow the postage signage and barriers while repairs are being made.
