Here’s what Canyon Lake residents can expect on the 4th of July

Map provided by the Canyon Lake POA.

Canyon Lake’s 4th of July Fireworks Show is set to begin at 9 p.m. Spectators can tune into 99.9 FM to hear music synchronized to the show. DJ Mike Shroyer will be playing music on the lodge pool deck starting at 8 p.m. Tara Miller will sing the national anthem prior to the fireworks show.

Community Patrol will have extra staff on hand at all three gates to help move the flow of traffic through the gates as quickly as possible. All gates will have additional staff walking the line to assist guests with accessing the community.

The RFID lanes at the main and east gates will be open to residents with RFID transponders. The other two lanes will be open for guests and residents. Both lanes at the north gate will be for guests or residents.

To enter the gates, guests must have a valid driver’s license in their possession and know the address of the person they are visiting.

Those inviting guests into the community are encouraged to utilize the ePass service. Members can log into their dwellingLIVE account online or through the mobile app and email their guests a pass.

Guests can print the pass ahead of time, or the gate attendant can scan the pass on their smartphone. For guests who did not print the pass, the gate attendant will issue a parking pass that the guest must display on their dashboard during their visit.

Beginning at noon, there will be no parking or viewing on any launch ramps or roads leading to the launch ramp.

At 2 p.m., Longhorn Drive will close at Strawberry Lane to Happy Camp. Guests should be prepared to show their guest passes with their host’s address, or camping pass if they are staying at Happy Camp. All vehicle and pedestrian traffic to Happy Camp will be stopped at 8:30 p.m.

Unregistered boats will not be permitted on the lake. Marine Patrol will be verifying boats for current registration at all launch ramps. Unregistered boats are subject to a $500 citation.
