In addition to working a full-time job, representing Wildomar District 4, and spending countless hours volunteering and organizing events, Councilwoman Bridgette Moore has been attending Northern Arizona University online classes for the past four years. On May 7, Moore graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Parks and Recreation Management.
Moore started the nonprofit Wildomar Community and Parks Foundation and, in 2020, helped create the Wildomar Beautification Volunteers movement.
The Wildomar councilwoman was recently named First District Volunteer of the Year. The First District encompasses the cities of Canyon Lake, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, most of the City of Riverside, and several unincorporated communities. She was honored at the April 26 Riverside County Board of Supervisors Meeting during the Volunteers of the Year presentation.
As a public servant, Moore has the reputation of being committed to bettering the lives of Wildomar citizens. She is actively involved in the community and volunteers her time with several organizations such as Caring Hearts for Veterans and Community, Boy Scouts of America, Cops for Kids, Wildomar Rotary Club, Elsinore Wildomar Elks Lodge #2591, and VFW Auxiliary Post #1508.
Moore was elected to the inaugural city council when Wildomar became a city in 2008. In 2010, she became the first woman to serve as mayor of Wildomar. Here term ends in 2024.
