Wildomar DUI Checkpoint results in five DUI arrests

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Lake Elsinore Station conducted a Driving Under the Influence and Driver’s License Checkpoint on Friday between the hours of 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. on Clinton Keith Road and Iodine Springs Road.

According to Sergeant Brad Foster, 534 vehicles were screened, five drivers were arrest for driving under the influence, four misdemeanor arrest warrants were served, 30 citations were issued, and 14 vehicles were towed.

Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
