The son of a 74-year-old Wildomar woman who died under suspicious circumstances has been arrested on suspicion of murder and elder abuse.
On July 27 at 4:29 p.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the 33000 block of Hidden Hollow Drive in Wildomar regarding a suspicious death investigation. Deputies were called to the location after Sheriff’s Coroner personnel reported suspicious factors in the death of 74-year-old Bonnie Thompson, a Wildomar resident
During the investigation, Thompson’s son, 52-year-old Justin Tyler Scott of Wildomar, was identified as the suspect. On September 11, Scott was arrested on suspicion of murder and elder abuse.
