The Canyon Lake Woman’s Club hosted its Annual Hot Autumn Night Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, drawing about 75 attendees to the Canyon Lake Senior Center for an evening filled with fun, flavor, and friendly competition.
The event featured a chili cook-off contest where participants showcased their best chili recipes. In addition to the competition, there were cornhole games, a drawing, and vendors.
Kim Barkley took first place in the chili cook-off, followed by Jennifer Dain, whose chicken chili earned second place, and Randy Barkley, who placed third. They were awarded custom aprons.

Mindy LaTendresse’s chili earned her the People’s Choice award, along with a $100 cash prize. In a generous gesture, LaTendresse donated her winnings to the Canyon Lake Fire Fighters Association.
