Canyon Lake women are meeting up on Halloween morning to take part in the annual Witch of Canyon Lake Halloween Paddle to raise awareness for breast cancer. Participants are encouraged to wear a witch costume or hat.
The witches will depart from Moonstone Beach at 9 a.m. Instead of broomsticks, the witches will cruise around the main lake on paddleboards and kayaks.
All participants must have a lifejacket on board and stay within the buoys. Those who participate do so at their own risk.
Participants are encouraged to make a donation to a breast cancer awareness organization of their choice.
