The Riverside Police Department issued a missing person alert for 53-year-old Esther Hollister, who was reported missing on August 16 after not returning on Saturday from an afternoon hike on Mount Rubidoux in the downtown area of Riverside.
Police say her vehicle is still parked in the same place and she has not been seen or heard from in more than 24 hours, which is unusual for Hollister.
Hollister is five foot two, weighs 130 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, blue shorts, black and white Converse shoes, and carrying a black backpack. The last contact she had with anyone was at 3:30 p.m. in the area of the Evergreen Cemetery.
Officers, friends, and family have been searching the area extensively but have not been able to locate her. If you see or know of her whereabouts, call 951-354-2007 and reference report number 200021422.
