The Canyon Lake Yacht Club invites its members and guests to get their hulas on and set sail for a Hawaiian-themed cruise and tie-up party on Saturday, August 24, at 6:30 p.m.
This event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Harbor Park docks, where attendees will gather to enjoy shared appetizers before departing at 7:15 p.m. for a scenic cruise around the main lake. After the cruise, boats will tie up in Catfish Cove, where attendees can socialize, float in the lake, and enjoy the evening together.
Attendees are asked to bring an appetizer to share and their own beverages.
This event is open to both Yacht Club members and members of the community. Boat ownership is not required, as non-boat owners are welcome to board Yacht Club boats as available.
The Yacht Club was established in 1990 by Canyon Lake residents who enjoyed time on the lake. The club maintains a busy social calendar, bringing members together for dinners, sunset cruises, and other recreation. The club also hosts Canyon Lake’s iconic Parade of Lights holiday boat parade and gives back to the community through its student scholarship program.
