The Canyon Lake Yacht Club invites all residents and their guests on a tour of the waterfront holiday displays on the evening of Saturday, December 19, at 5:30 p.m.
The Yacht Club is offering a limited number of seating on club boats for the tour, with social distancing and safe health practices determined by individual captains. The club requests a donation to the Yacht Club for all non-Yacht Club member passengers. Proceeds will benefit the club’s Scholarship Fund and other philanthropic activities. The Yacht Club will post a map of the best displays on the Yacht Club website on December 20 for residents who own boats and wish to go on their own self-guided tour.
The Yacht Club is sponsoring a community-wide waterfront holiday display competition. Awards will be presented in a number of categories. There is no entry fee. The judges will travel to all coves and past main channel homes between December 13 and December 18 to view and determine award-winning displays.
